Gravel Cycling
Finland is a gravel cyclist’s paradise: we have a total of 27,000 kilometers of gravel and forest roads. A gravel bike is an excellent choice for Finnish conditions—it’s well-suited for roads, gravel routes, and easy trails alike. You’ll find rideable terrain almost everywhere, with endless variation and plenty of stunning, ready-made gravel routes already available.

Bikepacking
How does a longer adventure in the heart of nature sound—speed, lakes and forests, fells and hills, countryside with charming villages, or hundreds of kilometers through wilderness landscapes? Since 2020, several long bikepacking routes have been developed in Finland. These routes differ from traditional cycle touring routes mainly by their surface type: while traditional touring favors well-maintained paved roads and stays closer to services, bikepacking routes take adventurers primarily along unpaved gravel and forest roads.
